Description

Our mini PIR motion sensing switch is a small and effective low voltage on/off switch for 12-24VDC constant voltage LED lighting products. The sensor detects motion within a 10ft radius which then switches your lights on for 30 seconds or until no more motion is detected. With a 2.5 amp output this switch can control up to 30 watts of 12VDC lighting or 60 watts of 24VDC lighting using bare wire connections. The sensor is conveniently attached to a threaded bolt designed to be permanently installed in any 0.47"-0.50" diameter hole using a 15mm size nut. This product is only intended to be used in a dry environment, ideal applications include dark areas where a light switch is inconvenient such as laundry rooms, bathrooms, attics, basements, hallways, garages, sheds, and storage areas. For larger installations use with a single channel signal amplifier to increase the load output.

Can this be mounted under a wall hung vanity, about 12" from floor, facing down-towards floor. can be placed near front if that helps.

Ecolocity LED Responded:

Yes this could be used for that purpose and should still detect motion at that height and angle. The detection range will be less than if it were pointing outwards and may require some hand or lower body movement but it should still detect movement at that point of install.
