Aluminum STEKO Extrusion for Staircase Lighting

The STEKO aluminum extrusion from KLUS designs is made especially for step and staircase lighting using thin profiled LED side light strips. This aluminum profile is a smaller more economical version of the STEP extrusion and has a small channel that is covered with a transparent silicon string for emitting light. The extrusion can be mounted by drilling and counter sinking screws directly into the step surface. Using our side light strip or thin lux strip that is less than 6mm wide you can create beautiful and customized step lighting that also acts as additional safety for hard to see steps and stairs. Face the lights upwards towards the silicon cover for a more intense light with visible dots or face the light downwards into the channel for more even softer lighting with no dots. A small channel is provided at the bottom of the extrusion intended for running and concealing wires. If this channel is going to be used outdoors the LED strip should be sealed using a nonconductive, frost resistant neutral silicon. This profile is available in 1M and 2M lengths.
