Under Cabinet High CRI Tape Lights make a Colorful Kitchen Stand Out

This professional project was done by our customer Ken who installed Ribbon Star Max Warm White LED Strip Lights on each shelf of a large cabinet unit to enhance the items being displayed. The project took close to nine rolls of ribbon and is being controlled by a single dimmer. The signal from the PWM Dimmer with RF remote is being relayed by three Signal Amplifiers. Power is being supplied through one 320W 12VDC Power Supply. This is truly a one of a kind project and Ken did a great job of really bringing these cabinets to life.

Bright White under cabinet strip lights are used in this elegant and inviting kitchen. The 3800-4200K Ribbon Star Ultra Daylight White Light Strips were a perfect color tone to compliment the dark grey cabinets with white counters and backsplash. They also perfectly matched the bright white color tone of the existing overhead ambient can lighting. The high density strip light inside of the Micro Channel with frosted diffuser shows no visible LED diodes, providing a line of light, without spotty reflection of the counter top. A 60 Watt Mean Well power supply is driving the power for the 24V LED strip lights. Our simple yet sophisticated touch face Wall Dimmer enables simple dimming and on off power of the under cabinet lighting. As you can see the project was a success and the customer is beyond happy with the results.

To complete this kitchen lighting project our customer used 4 rolls of our 12VDC Ribbon Star Max Warm White LED Strip Lights to provide soft, bright, and inviting illumination to his kitchen cabinets. The installation was fairly straight forward and simple to install. Wall power was converted from high voltage AC to 12VDC using our Mean Well 200W 12VDC Power Supply, two sets of DC output power wires were then wired from the power supply to the PWM Dimmer and also the signal amplifier. Since the 12VDC Wall Outlet Mount LED Dimmer can only power 5 amps of lighting, or 60 watts, a Single Channel Signal Amplifier was used to dim the additional load of strip lighting. The lighting didn't take long to install and instantly transformed the ambience of the kitchen space. Using our Dim to Warm Strip Lights this customer is able to transform the mood and setting of their under cabinet kitchen lights simply by dimming the LED strip. The dim to warm strip is intended to mimic natural lighting. Sunlight during the day, or full brightness, and candlelight at night, lowest brightness. The strip not only dims but becomes a warmer color temperature as it dims. This sets the mood for a relaxing environment. Whether you want to wind down after a long day, or have a romantic meal, dim the LEDs and the temperature of the lights adjusts and dims according to natural lighting. Full brightness creates more of a bright daylight white for tasks such as cooking, cutting and cleaning. The strip was placed inside the MICRO channel with frosted cover, it requires a 24VDC Power Supply to operate and a PWM Dimmer or Dimmable Power Supply with compatible wall switch for dim to warm effect.
